American offers the only lavatory diverter faucet (73 series) with an automatic diverter that doubles as the attachment for a hand held shower. American's competitive valve stem is designed without internal threads eliminating the plunger action seen in her competitor's plastic faucets. The plunger action invites debris such as sawdust, carpet, insulation pieces or other materials which can inadvertently become lodged in your water line. Screens & strainers jammed into the water line only move the problem. Our cost effective true washerless stem shears the water flow with a quarter turn motion without a plunger action. With the stem never leaving the bonnet chamber, debris and foreign material cannot enter and become lodged, thus avoiding leaking and dribbling.
